opt的ExpirationDay是9月30號,當天能工作嘛

opt的ExpirationDay是9月30號,當天能工作嘛？如果不能工作，公司就不能PAY我，那改怎麽寫CHECK啊？需要做DOCUMENT為以後申請綠卡時解釋這個GAP嗎？
因為我已經file 2006年的quote,如果update to 2005 20k要交1000的加急費，有這個必要嘛？（主要是擔心以後申請綠卡有9-30這一天的gap, 一天的GAP會影響整個申請嗎？)
