My parents got their visas.

My parents got their visas yesterday fairly easily. They came and stayed for 3 months last time. That was two years ago.

The VOs asked them only one question: why they wanted to stay 3-6 months this time. My mom told him that they retired and were not sure if they wanted to continue working or not. Then they were granted the visas.

But the thing that is not so perfect is, they got the visas with 2 entries, valid for 3 months only.

I was thinking the one year, multiple entries visas will allow them to come next time. Now they will have to apply for a new visa next year if they want to come. Annoying! Why didn't the VOs follow their rules?

Anyway, this is still something that will make me happy. Good luck to all of our parents who want to come.
