When we got ours, but not my son's card, we called then. They told us we did not apply for it. And asked us to prepare documents for apply.

We waited without doing anything, and it arrived afteer some days.

Be prepared, Canada government is the lost low efficiency country I encounted. We met several probelms due to their error and slow: SIN, Maple cards, CCBT, post ( Express mail arrived after 3 weeks, not 3 days)

The only thing I saw them act fast is approval REFUGEE application with faked reasons.
