Better stick to your current application. Don't confuse USCIS. Once USCIS is confused, you are in big trouble. I know a Chinese that submitted two different petition ( 1st got denied, then he appealed, than submitted 2nd petition while waiting for the 1st one). His case never has a result. His 485 petition has been pending for 6-7yrs.
