We did physical exam before filing 485. Here all our friends did that too. One friend got physical exam related RFE because he didn't fill out some form for the exam (I forgot the detail). Though he filed in Jan, 2004, he is still pending.

I don't know why your lawyer said that. Doesn't sound like normal procedure to me.
