Work for your employer during the period of Aug. to
Oct. as a volunteer while keeping a valid F1 status.
This way, your employer will be happy since they
don't get hurt by your work visa problem, and you
take some financial loss. Your supervisor may decide to give you a big bonus at the end of the year. Young man/lady, you will make a lot of money during your life time. Don't calculate too carefully. You will find you are better off this way.
