F2 to F1

the application of status change from F2 to F1 was denied today,USCIS informed me that my hu*****and hasn't been in employment in his OPT period,so he failed to maintain his F1 status, me either because F2 was depend to F1.
the internation student office in my university suggested me to re-apply student F1 visa in canada, but I worried that I can't come back if my application is denied again, so what can I do now, anyone can give me some advises?
