What do you mean by 想以ld的名義邀請我父母過來? VO won't care about 以whose名義邀請母過來。Just write a letter in a tone that both of you want your parents to come and visit.

The most important material which will support your parents visa is their status. Do they have strong ties to China, like job, relatives, especially other kids, their parents etc. If they have income, property,health care etc.
