They take fingerprint from your right index finger and have you sign on a form, actually a card I89. Then they send them to the factory which will make the card for you. Only kids under 14 won't have to do that, I think.

I89 is the form they order GC for you. Go do it. The stamp they put on your passport is as good as the real card.
