指紋疑問

前天終於去打指紋了，那裏有兩種方式打指紋，傳統油墨及電腦取指紋。
當天電腦取指紋運作很正常，輪到我時，他們堅持我用傳統油墨打指紋。

這兩種方法有區別嗎？實在不懂他們的堅持有啥道理？
