加拿大綠卡 does not help you in anyway to get US work authorization.
The jobs that are suitable for high school graduates, or AA AS degree holders, are the jobs most Americans do and US need to prevent non-resident aliens from getting those jobs.
I suggest you get US GC first for such jobs, or get BS/BA for higher-end jobs.
