about Canada immigration

I submitted my canadian immigration application to bufflo at the beginning of Dec., 2004. I have not received the file number yet. I will move in May, how can I inform the Bufflo office of my address change?

Is that too long for my case to receive filenumber? Should I fax to Bufflo? How?
