Your return wouldn't help a lot for B2 application. But it will help a lot if your spouse applies for H4.
Maybe you can:
1. write a letter, stating why you didn't go back home for these 6 years. And state that you and your parents miss each other so much. Right now you can't go back home (just find some reasons), then you'd like to invent your parents to visit you.
2. Give more evidance that your parents would go back to china after visiting you. e.g., house, bank savings, strong relationship with other relatives in China, their employment letter in China.
