a new I-20, a letter from ISO

In the new I20, you should provide the evidence that you have enough money to cover you couple. Normally, the financial aids only cover yourself. The best way is that a letter from your PI shows the financial support could cover both of you.

The letter from International student office could prove that you have registered and maintained your status continuously.
