I did not fill out the I-134 form. My parents got their visa without any problem.

Some people suggest that it is better to have it. So if you not too sure about it, just fill it out. But ask your parent not to show it to the officer unless asked.

Anyway, prepare all kinds of documentation, just in case it is needed during your parents' interview. GOOD LUCK!
