If you keep unmarried, you will be in the first family sponsored perference. It takes 4 yr get the available visa number plus 1-2 yr for your I485 or immigrant visa.

If you get married before you get your immigrant visa, you will be in the third family sponsored perference. It takes 7 yr get the available visa number plus 1-2 yr for your I485 or immigrant visa.
