Job title is not important. Enginner II, Engineer III or Senior Engineer don't mean anything to the immigrant officer. The job duty is important. According to my understanding, you need to make sure that your current job duty is the same or similar as the one mentioned in your I485. If you have a lawyer, talk to your lawyer.
