I don't know what that explained anything.

I filed my I-485 in January 2002 and I am still waiting. I didn't change my job, and they never transfered my case to anywhere else(in Vermont Center). I tried all possible approach I have, and finally I got this stupid message last week after AILA filed a complain for me:

“The processing of the petition/application has been delayed. All petitions/applications received by this Service are required to have routine security checks that are resulting in delays of the adjudication of petitions/applications. We have no control over how long these checks will take. We can give not definite indication of when they will be completed.”

Do you know what the f**k they are talking about? I don't! I lost my faith in this mad country, and seeking other options actively. It's sad you don't know what you can do.
