What kind of notice I am expecting to get the I-89 done? I submited my application on Jan. 11, and got the receipt notice on Jan.29, and I did my fingerprint on Feb. 5.

I called INS 1-800 and that officer told me that I-89 is missing from my file, so I need to get it done. He said the I-485 couldn't be processed without that. Is it true? (I haven't got any other notice except the first receipt notice).

I am not sure what that online status says either. Confused.
