should report the change of family members immediatly. This may delay your application a little, but you will get less trouble in future when you need to bring your son into Canada. Yes, he can enter without any problem if he is born in US, however, if you are going to live there, he does not have health insurance and cannot attend school as a visitor until he has his immigration paper done. Write to the center and ask for a form for your son.
