To apply for LC as a post-doc, you have to change your job title to "research associate" or "research fellow". Post-doc is a temporary job and does not qualify for LC. In terms of salary, it has to be determined by individual SWA. My attorney ask my SWA for prevailing wage (based on the job description he wrote for me) and mine was above 100% of the state prevailing wage for RIR at that time. But if you want to apply through PERM, you may have to wait until March 28 because most states don't have prevailing wage under PERM yet. You can also ask your boss to pay you more than 100% of the current prevailing wage for RIR, which should be safe even for PERM and get started with the advertisement process. Good luck
