Urgent help please

Hi, everyone,
I am in USA and a H1 holder, I140/485 pending. I entered USA as a F1 studend.
Due to family emergency, I have to travel back to China very soon and have no time to wait for my AP. I have following questions, please somebody give me some suggestion:
1. My visa stamp on my passport is still F1. I have to apply H1 and get H1 stamp on my passport at one of US consulates in China. How risk this is?
2. What documents I need prepare for the H1 application?
3. Anybody knows any reject case(s) and why?
4. Do I need show the visa officer my I140/485 receipt notice and my EAD card?
5. Anybody knows how to make the interview appointment through the new phone call system? What is the number?
6. Which I-94 card should I return back on my flight back to China, F1 or H1?
