My RIR was also transferred to the BRC. Below is what our company attorney just told me. Basically it was saying there would be 24-30 month waiting. I feel hopeless anyway.

"At this time, we are unable to provide any status information on Permanent
Labor Certifications. All Processing Center files are in the process of
being transferred into a new database. Once the data entry process is
completed, a 45-day letter will be issued on all applications requesting
additional information from the employer if needed."

BRCs were put in place a couple of months ago and, effective January 1,
2005, all processing of RIR/traditional labor certifications by the state
workforce agencies (SWAs) and regional departments of labor (DOL) stopped.
As the above indicates, all pending cases are now being transferred to the
BRCs, which are expected to take 24-30 months to clear the backlogs. As
this is a very new process, I, unfortunately, am not able to give you any
better time estimates than the 24-30 months estimation provided to us by
the DOL.
