You should apply your H4 exten

-sion even the H1 is pendding. Actually you should file H1 and H4 renewal all the time together. H4 expiration date is meaningless if the H1 has been changed (renewed or extended). Also you don't need to wait the H1' renewal approval for filing your H4. I think you just wanted to save some application fees. Too bad, you are out of status already but in short several day. File your H4 extension as soon as possible.
