No, once you apply US visa in board countries (Canada & Mesico), you can't re-enter the US automaticlly unless you get the visa. If you don't apply US visa, you can go back without a valid within 30 days. Remember, keep you I94 or other satus document with you. Don't let immigrants remove from your passport.
