I think you can send the form back and ask your hu*****and to do the exam in China. The form should be fine. I did the same thing. I tried to contact the Buffalo consulate about this issue but didn't get any response. Then I just went ahead.
One more thing might be helpful. When I did the exam here, I asked the doctor to write a letter to state that my hu*****and couldn't do the exam at the same location as me because he is in China right now and suggest to have a seperate exam in China.
By far, there is no problem. Both my exam and my hu*****and's exam results have been received by the canada immigration center.
