If you both agree to divorce and agree on all terms of money issues (such as how much he will pay you on a monthly basis), you can just go to the city hall and ask for the right documents to fill out and sign together. And later go to court together. But if he does not agree or he agrees divorce but does not agree on the money issues, then you probably will have to hire a lawyer to deal with it. And in such case, the judge might require a 18 month separation period before he gives out the final order of divorce. So make sure he will agree on everything, and also make sure you have the right status, F1 and etc, before you take any action.
