In my case, it starts as EAC,then a serie number following. That was exactly the same as my receipt number showing up on my I485 receipt.

For example: EAC-01-123-45678, total 10 digits.

If you are not from VSC, then maybe the INS there have a different way to do it. Sorry I can't help more, but wish you luck.
