officer in my school today.
First, theoretically F1 visa requires no immigration trend. After filed 485, you can't file OPT or CPT. After your application is rejected, if you apply F1 again, it is likely that you wont' get it since you already showed your desire for immigration.
Here is my question:
I haven't turned in my 485 receipt to school so they still report me as F1. Am I still F1 then? Can I apply H1B inside of US? My lawyer said I could if I held a nonimmigrant visa. If I am still F1, why I can't file OPT?
Please answer my question if you know. Thanks tons.
