Help: I-485 Approval

My hu*****and filed I-140 and I-485 at the begining of 2004 and they were approved at the same time about a month ago. I filed I-485 with him but haven't heard anything. Will my case be processed separately from his and thus the time of approval becomes a highly uncertain thing? My hu*****and wants to divorce me for another woman, so I'm really worried my case is still pending while the legally required separation period runs out. Thanks for any information.
