There is no way to "cancel" your H4 except you leave this country or your spouse cancel his/her H1.
Even there was a way to "cancel" your H4, you would be out of status right way because your previous H1 was VOID.
The only way is to ask your sponsor fill H1 application as soon as possible, premier process of H1 only takes 1 or 2 weeks.

Forget about your previous H1, face reality and look forward. Good luck.
