A quick quesion!

Hi,
I'm a naturalized US citizen. My wife is on H1B status. We just got married. She will quit her job to join me. A few questions:

1) should I get an attorney to help us for the paper work? Or it's ok for me to do the paper work myself?

2) if i get an attorney, how much should i expect to pay?

3) how long will this process take?

4) my wife would like to travel outside us. i know there is an option for 'advance parol' -- is there any risk for applying this and travel outside US?
