My daughter was born here a few months ago. She is American citzen. We just have green card in hand.
My wife took my daughter to China two weeks ago. My wife bought round trip ticket and just single trip for my daughter because we planed to let my parents to take care of her in China. When they boarded air-plane in airport, the airline company forced us to buy one return ticket for my dauughter, and asked my wife to have to bring my daughter back at the same day with my wife's return. The reason airplane company said is my daughter is a U.S.A citzen and we don't have right to leave her to stay in China with her grandparents.
My querstions are:
(1) Is the airplane check-in customer service right? (or does they follow law?)
(2) If it is true, which kind of paperwork do I need to do to make it become legal?
(3) From which kind of lawer (attorney) can I get right advise?
Very weird
