485 processing

I-485 was submitted in December, 2001, first Finger print was taken in April, 2002, and RFE was submitted in June 2003, and finally the second finger printed was finished in August, 2003. However, there is nothing happening until today. It has been more than 36 months since the I-485 was submitted. Can anybody have suggestions, advice, and comments? I have contacted the local congressman since the October of 2004. Thank you!
