140 and 485 questions

Hi, there, I am going to applyGC through EB outstanding research, my question is if I submit both 140 and 485 together, can I still change my job if my 140 is approved while 485 is pending? Will INS check my ployer when they process 485? Thanks a lot for your information! Happy new year
