J1 5yrs ago, applying H1b now

I am a Canadian citizen now and just got an offer from a US company. The company promised to sponsor an H1b Visa for me. But I am afraid an un-waivered J1 visa 5 years ago may have a negative effect on the supposed H1b application. Any advice or experience is appreciated. Urgent!
