I do not understand what you meant you failed. I just tried it and it worked.

Go to the web site:

https://infopass.uscis.gov/infopass.php

and follow the steps. If you get a message like"there is no appointment available at this time", it means it is full. You need to try it someday next week.

Try it around 7Am on Monday morning. You should be able to make an appointment.
