Many thanks for your answer! Before the denial of OR, we had sent a letter to INS to inform them my NIW case has been approved, but have never got response from them. I don't know if this motion works or not. I am lost now because: we could not file another I-485 until the denial of OR, as one person cannot have two I-485 pending; while after the first got denied I have to file another I 485, but how I can cover the gap between the two I-485s?

Actually we began to file the second I-485. Today my lawyer told me I am not out of status. But I am still worried about my situation.
