我弟弟6年前獲得了美國綠卡。由於家有年逾90歲的父母需要他照顧，故他需要經常往返於中國和美國之間， 目前他在中國。
兩個月前，他22歲的女兒通過“隨行親屬（follow-to-join）”程序獲得了美國綠卡。
問題：

女兒是否可以在沒有父親陪同的情況下，獨自進入美國（完成首次入境）？-Technically, the daughter can enter US without the father's accompany because the father has become a green card holder. But the problem is that if the father goes back and forth too often between US and China, or stay in China for too long time, e.g., for more than 6 months, the father might be considered to abandon the green card voluntarily by the US Customs Officer. Thus, the daughter might have trouble to enter US.

女兒的護照今年7月到期， 現在需要換發一本新護照（以保證入境時護照的6個月有效期）。但綠卡簽證打在這本老護照上，入境時同時帶上新舊兩本護照，會有什麽問題嗎？-No problem. 我們需要注意並做些什麽嗎?-Bring both new and old passports to enter US.
