485 pening troubles?

contract/project position has any bad effect on our pending 485? any problems maybe occur for my 485 approval if I take a contract/project position in a private company next month. This position may be for 1 or 2 years. My NIW140 was approved last year, and 485 was pending over 1 year. I have been a postdoctor in different universities for 4 years.
