Did you publish the data about these genes in a peer review professional journal or present your gene findings in the professional meeting and obtained high comments from the scientists in your field yet? If you just submitted the data to the public database such as GenBank, the data may not have have to be included in your green card application because its is not difficult to discover a gene in these days.
