We chose to file I130 on line afterall to abotain the PD right away. Right after I130 filed, we got receipt back, now we can use the receipt # for I485 filing. Will usps mail in I485 within 7 days to make it concurrent with I130.
-No, but it does not matter, anyway. Concurrent filing means an immigrant petition and an adjustment of status application are filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) at the same time. This essentially means that petition and application, along with all of the necessary supporting documents and application fees, are mailed at the same time to the same filing location.
Concurrent filing may speed up the application process because USCIS may process your I-130 and I-485 at the same time and then, approve your I-485 very soon after your I-130 is approved. But in your case, there is not difference because you filed I-485 only a few days later after you filed I-130.
