兒子綠卡申請，今天傍晚下班回家後收到了移民局要求打指紋的信件，appointment 是安排在今天下午3點，而收到信己是傍晚6點，所以錯過了。

信中說如果缺席appointment, 就視為自動放棄綠卡申請。兒子有電話USCIS, 他們同意reschedule appointment. Reschedule要等多久？

-Hard to say, case by case. Your kid may just go to the USCIS Application Support Center  where the biometrics take place to do the biometrics even if he received the Appointment Notice after the due date (explain to the officer there).

我們還需要做其他事情嗎？

-If he does not go to do the biometrics, check "Reschedule" on the Appointment Notice and mail it back to the USCIS Support Center and write a expanation with it.

信件是2月5號寄出的，路上經過了兩個星期，這是郵局的問題，還是移民局的問題啊？
