請教8老師，我爸爸剛拿到綠卡3個月，他下周準備回國看病。他會在國內待超過6個月，請問：

1.現在給他申請在國內停留超過6個月申請來得及嗎？

-Occasionally it is OK to stay in China for more than 6 months and less than one year. 

2.他打算回國一年左右，怎麽樣才能再回美國呢？

-He needs to come back before his stay in China reaches one year mark. It may be too late for him to apply for the reentry permit, especially USCIS may need him to conduct the fingerpritning.
