Emergency!need help for EAD

Please help me: I applied my EAD based on OPT on June 2004, got approvled on Sep 11 2004. I got this information through online and I also called INS, they told me that I have to wait. I never received EAD card from INS. I knew I had best luck:) on this. I called them a few times last month, they told me they will help me. Today I receiced a letter from INS. They claimed that they sent my card already. Since I didn't received it, I have to apply for a replacement card again. It's horrible! Is there anyone knows that I could go to Boston local INS office and to get a temp card?I really need it in two weeks. Also I started working since Oct 2004 becasue I thought I have a working permission.It's a part-time job. They didn't ask my EAD card number. I already have SSI card.They just asked me SSI card. ( It's because I could work on-cumpus). Am I in BIG trouble because I worked without EAD number in hand? Thank you very much! Appreciate it!
