尊敬的8老師，想問一下，父母綠卡，如果他們每半年入境美國來待一個月（所以一年隻在美國待2個月），以後綠卡到期了會對renew綠卡有影響嗎？
-No. But in reality, your parents cannot stay in US only for about two months each year. You have to stay in US for more than 6 months every year to keep their green card validity. Of course, they may stay outside US for more than 6 months and less than one year in China occasionally in certain circumstances. If they need to stay in CHina for more than one year and less than two years, they need to apply for reentry permit.
Remember that the green card is for them to stay in US permanently, not for them to use it as border crossing card.
renew綠卡的時候有要求過去十年至少有一半的時間待在美國嗎？因為父母現在身體還可以，所以他們近幾年還是比較傾向於更多時間在中國，但是不知道這樣做會不會對以後renew綠卡有影響。非常感謝！！！
