我們的I140 和485兩周前一起提交，目前還沒有receipt. 昨天才知道I140沒有用加急申請。我先生估計跟律師之間沒有溝通好此事，隻是assume加急申請了。所以現在想問一下幾個問題。
1. 如果不追加急，普通申請，到拿到綠卡大概會需要多久？我猜要至少一年半，壞者3年都有可能？
-Hard to say, depends on whether your priority date is current based on FINAL ACTION DATES FOR EMPLOYMENT-BASED PREFERENCE CASES (i.e., "A Form").
If your priority date is current (based on "A Form"), you may use premiujm processsing for the I-140 to get it approved in 15 days and thus, your I-485 may be approved quickly. But if your priority date is not current, you may not need to waste your money to do the premium processing for the I-140. So, check the Visa Bulletin in May 2023 before you request premium processing.
2. 如果現在想追加急，是不是要等到拿到receipt才能申請加急？
-Yes.
因為現在沒有case#.
3. 申請了加急，到拿到綠卡是不是快很多？
-See above explanation.
我看其他人分享的時間線，有的3,4個月就拿到了。當然他們的運氣也是相當的好。
4. 加急申請必須由律師提出發送到移民局嗎？還是可以我們自己填表郵寄至移民局？
-If the I-140 petitoner is your spouse (i.e., the I-140 is EB-1A), he can file I-907 by himself, not have to bother the lawyer, especially the lawyer may charge you extra service fee. But if the I-140 is sponsored by his employer, then he has to ask the lawyer to do it because the lawyer represents the employer.
