幾年前谘詢過您，現在又有新的問題，想聽您的看法。
今年6月，我老公H1b 6年到期。3年前剛renew H1b, 換了工作，又H1b transfer到現在的公司。在前公司有申請綠卡，I140通過了，有了PD. 到新的公司又重新申請perm, 今天通知說通過了，可以申請下一步140，並建議與485一起遞交，因為PD已經current.
想問8老師，一起遞交140和485好嗎？
-Yes. Talk to the lawyer to claim the priority date retention when you file the new I-140 and I-485 concurrently.
我以前在哪兒看到說一起遞交有時會有風險，我也不記得是為什麽了。還是先遞交140（打算加急申請），等通過了再遞交485？
因為H1b 6月到期，需要更新。律師的意思是如果一起遞交140和485，就不用再更新H1b？這樣可行嗎？我感覺有點懸呢。那6月以後怎麽工作呢？
-You need to ask the employer to extend your H-1B even if you file I-485!!. Otherwise, if your new I-140 or I-485 is not approved, you have to leave US. Also, it takes about 16 months for the EAD to be approved, so if you do not extend your H-1B, you cannot work after your current H-1b expires and before the EAD is approved.
