請教8老師:朋友B1旅遊身份轉F1學生身份，除過遞交I-539轉身份的申請表格外，還同時需要同時提交一份B1延期的申請嗎？

--Not need to extend your B2 status when you apply for change of status fro B2 to F1. 

疫情期間是需要同時提交兩個申請的，但不知最近移民局政策有無變化？謝謝！
