Extend your Canadian status

Usually the VO will check your status in Canada first before reviewing your materials. Once they see your Canadian status will be expired in a few weeks, they will strongly suspect your motivation to go to US. I suggest you to get your Canadian status extended ASAP before you go for US visa interview.
